Overview

This section describes what you can do on the Items page. The Items page is your central product catalog. Every product your store sells lives here — including its name, description, pricing, category, inventory tracking settings, barcode, and supplier. Keeping your items catalog accurate and up to date is the foundation of reliable inventory tracking and sales reporting.

What You Can Do

  • Add new products with a name, description, category, photos, and barcode or SKU.
  • Organize items into categories to make them faster to find at the point of sale and easier to manage in reports.
  • Set cost price and retail/selling price to track your gross margin for each product.
  • Enable inventory tracking per item so Wasinga automatically adjusts stock levels as sales are made.
  • Link items to suppliers so you can quickly identify where to reorder and create purchase orders.
